In this newsletter, we feature three innovative corporate partnerships that have brought our motto to life: "When all give, all gain."
If your company would like to partner with us, help the East Boston Social Centers community, and gain the workforce benefits associated with volunteering, please click the button below:
Thank you Turner Construction for choosing us and volunteering for some much-needed maintenance updates! Leonard "Lenny" Cambria Jr. (4th from top left) is a Social Centers Alumni! He went to East Boston Camps growing up and thanks our organization for making his childhood so fun! He loved coming back to the place responsible for making his childhood full of great memories to brighten up some of the space with the rest of his Turner Construction Crew! They updated our Senior Room and painted our main stairwell. We love how everything turned out!
Thank you Comcast Cares for hosting Bingo Night here at the East Boston Social Centers! The Comcast employee volunteers were great and we learned a lot of them had East Boston roots - how awesome is that?! Our Seniors loved the fun, food, and prizes! Watch a great little video about the event HERE!
For the entire month of May, when you purchase a $2.50 reusable Community Bag at the Stop & Shop located at 540 Squire Road, Revere MA, $1 is donated to the East Boston Social Centers, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag. Our goal is to sell 200 bags, equivalent to $200 raised.
We are confident that with the help of our dedicated supporters, we can reach this goal. We strongly encourage you to share this news with family and friends as well!
The Community Bags are located on displays around the store and at the checkout.
